Barkot is a small town located in Uttarkashi district in Uttarakhand state. It is situated at an elevation of 1220 meters above the sea level and 46 kms from yamunotri. Barkot is one of the most popular destination among the tourists. Summer Season: Summer season has a moderate temprature which is quite comfortable. May is the warmest month of an average tempratureof 29 degree at noon. Summer season is not the best time to visit in Binsar.
