Tungnath Temple: Tungnath temple is located on the Chandranath Parbat in Rudraprayag distrit of Uttarakhand. The temple Tungnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is one of Panch Kedar. It is the highest temple of Lord Shiva at an elevation of 3860 meters above the sea level. Tungnath Mandir can be reached by 3.5 km trek starts from Chopta. Deoria Tal: The Deoria Tal is located on the Ukhimath - gopeshwar road. It is located at an elevation of 2438 mts above the sea level. The lake is surrounding by pine forest. The Lake is one of the chief attraction of Chopta. Deoria Tal can be reached by an easy trek of 2 km from sari Village.
Chandrashila: Chandrashila is another attraction in Chopta which is quite popular among the travelers. To take an easy trekking of 1 km from Tungnath to reach Chandrshila. It is the highest point above the Tungnath Temple with at an elevation of 4090 mts above the sea level.
Ukhimath: Ukhimath village is situated in Rudraprayag and winter home of Sri Kedarnath Ji. During the winters Sri Kedarnath is worshipped at the place because of the heavy snowfall.
Kanchula korak Musk Deer Sanctuary: The sanctuary is situated 7 km from Chopta. It is famous for breeding musk deer's. The Kanchula Korak Musk Deer Sanctuary is spread over an area of 5 km square km.
Rudranath Temple: Rudranath mandir is located near in chamoli district near by Chopta. The temple is made by rocks. Rudranath Temple is one of the Panch prayag and dedicated to Lord Shiva and worshipped at this temple in form of Neelkanth Mahadev in this temple. Vaitrani River is flow near the temple. Tarakund and Surya kund are located nera the temple.
Summer Season: The month of March, April and May is the summer month in Chopta. During these months the maximun temprature is 30 degree and minimum is 10 degree. Due to pleasent wather chopta has made best place to visit. Summer is the best time for sightseeing.
Winter Season: November is the starting month of winters to till the month of February. The maximum temprature in the region during the wintre is 15 degree and minimum temprature is -15 degree.
Monsoon Season: The month of July, August and September are the monsoon months in Chopta. During the monsoon season chopta received rainfall. Rainfall makes the wather pleasent.
Gaurikund: Situated at a distance of 50 km from Chopta, ending point of road and starts trek of 14 kms to the Sacred shrine of Kedarnath. It is believed that Lord Shiva accepted to marry with Goddess Parvati at this place and married her in Trijuginarayan. Goddess parvati take bath daily in this pond and a temple of Gauri is situated here.
Kedarnath Temple: One of the holiest Hindu Shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated at a distance of 64 kms from Chopta with at an elevation of 3584 mts above the sea level. The temple was built by Adi Guru Shankracharya in early 8th century. one of the 12th Jyotirlingas are situated in Kedarnath. you can reach Kedarnath by 14 kms easy treak from Garuikund.
Gopeshwar: located at a elevation of 1300 meters above the sea level. Gopeshwar is famous for its ancient temples dedicated to lord shiva. Thousand of devotees prayers to lord shiva in Gopeshwar. The place is bounded by four famous temples like- Tunganath, Anasurya Devi, Rudranath and Badrinath. Gopeshwar is only place where the only T.B Hospital in chamoli district is located in Gopeswar.

Madhmaheshwar: A holy Shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva Where the almighty is worshiped in the from of Naval Shaped lingum as it is believed that the navel of the bull disappered at Kedarnath and appered in Madhmaheshwar. situated at an elevation of 3289 mts above the sea level.
Kalimath: One of the shakti peeth and holds immense importance. Kalimath is dedicated to Goddess kali and visited by Devotees at a large number especially during the Navratras. Located at a height of 1800 mts above the sea level. It is situated at a distance of 49 kms from Rudraprayag.
