Day 02 Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (12,976 ft): (10,804 ft)
After Early Breakfast, Proceed to Yamunotri Via Hanumanchatti-foolchatti-Janakichatti and onwards 6 kms. Yamunotri is one of the four sites in chardham yatra tour. the temple of yamunotri, on the left bank of the yamuna. it was constructed by maharaja pratap shah of tehri garhwal. Day 03 Barkot - Uttarkashi (4,436 feet):
After Breakfast Proceed to uttarkashi 140 Kms. it is situated on the river bank of ganga at an altitude of 1352m above sea level. The mos famous kashi vishwanath temple dedicated to lord shiva was located here. It is believed that Lord Shiva killed Vakasur with this trident. some Other most important temples are dedicated to Lord Parashuram, Lord Ekadash Rudra and Goddess Kali etc. Evening Check in at Hotel. Day 04 Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi:
After Early Breakfast Proceed to Gangotri via Harishil Dam 100 kms. Gangotri is one of the most scared place of four sites of chardham yatra tour. gangotri is the origin of the river ganges & ganga river is called bhagirathi at the source and acquires the name of ganga river from devprayag onwards where it meets with alaknanda river. Gangotri is the place where Raja Bhagirath observed hard pinance and pleased god Shankar to bring Gangaji on the earth and obliged his sixty thousand ancesters. Day 05 Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag:
After Breakfast Proceed to Rudraprayag via New Tehri (Tehari dam), Srinagar. Tehri Dam is the 5th tallest dam in the world. Tehri dam Lake is a fast emerging as a gem among the major travel destination in Uttarakhand. After lunch Proceed to Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is one of the five confluences (Panch Prayag) of Alaknanda River, the point of confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Alaknanda then proceeds towards Devaprayag where it joins with Bhagirathi river to form the river Ganges. Kedarnath is just 86 Kms far From Rudraprayag. Day 06 Rudraprayag - Kedarnath (11,657 feet):
In the Early Morning, Transfer From Rudraprayag to Gaurikund by road 76 Kms. Take Horses, Pony or Doly From Gaurikund to Kedarnath 14 Kms Trek. It host one of the holiest hindu temple which is a most poplar hindu pilgrim all over the world. It is also comes on 12 Jyotrilinks of Hindu Religion. The most remote of the four Char Dham Yatra sites, Kedarnath is located in the Himalayas at a Height of 11,817 Ft. Kedarnath is flanked by breathtaking snow-capped peaks.
