Ramnagar is a small town situated in nainital district of kumaon region of Uttarakhand state. The town is located on the banks of kosi River at an elevation of 345 mts above the sea level. The Town Ramnagar was established in 1856. The place is gateway to the Jim corbett national Park. This is the oldest national park of India and got its name from the great hunter "Jim corbett". Jim Corbett National Park: Corbett national park established in 1936. The park has been named after its founder the famous hunter "Jim Corbett".
