Situated
at an altitude of over 8,500 feet, The Kanatal is a prime
location on the Chamba-Mussorie highway. With summer
temperatures ranging from 10-25 degrees Celsius, and
between 5 and 18 degrees in winters, the pleasant climate
and lush green natural environs of Kanatal offer a welcome
respite from the heat and dust-laden environs of crowded
cities and towns in the plains. The high point of the year
occurs between December and February, when visitors throng
this part of the country to experience the thrills of a
snow-white winter
